JOIN THE iRUN TEAM
iRun Texas is looking for outgoing running and fitness enthusiasts. Sales or teaching backgrounds are helpful, but not required. Are staffing needs vary regularly, but we review all applications. Currently iRun Texas is looking for team members with Thursday through Sunday availability and must commit to 5 weekend days per month. Join our team and become an expert in sports apparel/footwear while you help customers reach their fitness goals.
We provide a lengthy training process and therefore cannot make summer or seasonal hires but if you are a student at a local college and interested please reach out.

iRun Texas is like a family, we work in small spaces and your teammate expects you to be on time for your shift, pull your weight and work with all customers. Smiling and making your customer feel special as soon as they walk in the door is vital. We want them to know we are here for them! Whether a novice or seasoned racer, everyone is welcome and encouraged.
Commitment to Product Knowledge
iRun Texas takes pride in having current products with new products coming in regularly. It takes time and commitment to learn about our products so you can educate and care for our customers. Our customers come here to learn from you, not just about the shoe, but about nutrition, hydration, GPS watches and other tech devices. They want gear that not only fits well and looks good on but provides the technology to keep them cool, warm, and chafe-free. We want to keep them running strong, injury free and excited about their new running outfit.
iRun Texas places customer service and providing an unprecedented retail experience as a priority, but during downtime it is important to restock, clean, merchandise and more. There is always something to do. Attention to detail and keeping the store looking good keeps our customers coming back.
Patient, Understanding and a Good Listener
iRun Texas’ team members work with all individuals from young high school athletes to customers with medical prescriptions from their physician. You must always be friendly, positive and willing to listen. This is their time to share and our time to listen and help with all their running and walking needs. Taking time with each and every customer is critical. If you have a hard time talking to strangers and touching their feet this may not be the job for you.
iRun Texas is a retail store so weekends are a must. We understand races are on weekends, too. With notice, we can schedule appropriately. All employees are expected to work five weekend days a month.
